The objective is not to produce as many contacts as possible. We focus on companies where offer, demand and market context genuinely fit. We research relevant target companies, map the buying center, assess credible reasons to engage and prepare the contact approach.

What we do

Identify relevant target companies

We start with the commercial question: which companies could genuinely need your offer? We assess industry, size, projects, investment activity, supply chains and other signals that help prioritize realistic targets.

Research decision-makers and the buying center

A company name is not enough. We identify the roles that influence supplier selection, such as management, procurement, technical teams, operations, project leads or local partners. The key is to understand who is relevant to the decision and who can move a new supplier forward.

Qualify contacts

Not every matching company is a useful contact. We assess whether there is a credible business reason to engage, which information is still missing and whether the timing for outreach is plausible.

Prepare outreach and introductions

Depending on the project, we support direct outreach or make an introduction where a credible connection exists. Communication is tailored to the company, role and business context rather than sent as generic mass outreach.

More than a contact list

A long spreadsheet is not a business opportunity. In complex B2B markets, it matters more whether a target company actually fits the offer, which person should be approached and why a conversation could be relevant to both sides.

That is why contact research is connected to market analysis. It helps sales teams avoid spending time on companies that formally belong to the right industry but show no realistic application, investment context or route to purchase.

How a B2B connections project works

1. Define market and offerWe clarify the product, application, countries, sectors and commercial question.
2. Prioritize target companiesWe build a defensible shortlist and explain why each company matters.
3. Map the buying centerWe identify the roles and people who influence access, evaluation or supplier selection.
4. Prepare the reason to engageWe define which problem, project or market context makes contact relevant.
5. Open the contactDepending on the mandate, we support outreach or make a direct introduction.
6. Document resultsYou receive clear information on companies, contacts, status and next steps.

Which kinds of business contacts can be relevant?

That depends on the business model. Targets may include potential customers, distributors, importers, channel partners, project partners, suppliers or other companies that matter for market access. Before research starts, we define the type of contact and the criteria it needs to meet.

For a technical product, the end customer may be the right target. In another market, a distributor or local integrator may be the more realistic first route. Market logic therefore comes before contact volume.

How market strategy and B2B connections fit together

Market strategy determines where commercial potential exists and which companies matter. B2B connections take the next step when the objective is to turn that analysis into concrete conversations. The service complements international SEO, content and AI visibility with direct market development.

Inbound and outbound are treated as parts of the same process. A potential customer may discover your company through research, or you may approach a relevant company directly. In both cases, the market and buyer logic should be consistent.

Particular depth in South America

VolzMarketing works internationally. In South America, contact research can also draw on ongoing market, company and project monitoring. Where relevant to the commercial question, we use Econosur as an additional research base.

This is useful when international suppliers need more than names. They may need to understand which projects are moving, which companies are investing, how local procurement works and which partner structures are realistic.

Our role in business introductions

Our standard role is clearly defined: we research, qualify, prepare outreach and can make introductions. Pricing, contract negotiations and the final commercial decision remain with the client unless a different scope is explicitly agreed.

Projects may be structured as a fixed research and advisory mandate. Where there is a genuine introduction role, a success-based fee can also be agreed. Scope, target criteria and compensation are defined transparently before work starts.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this service for?

It is particularly useful for B2B companies with complex products or services that want to reach new customers, partners, distributors or suppliers in international markets.

Do we only receive a company list?

No. A list may be part of the output, but the main value lies in prioritization, relevant contacts, reasons to engage and concrete next steps.

Can VolzMarketing handle outreach?

Yes, when outreach is part of the agreed project. Alternatively, we prepare companies, contacts and messaging so your sales team can take over directly.

Does an introduction guarantee a deal?

No. An introduction creates a qualified contact. It does not replace demand, evaluation, proposal or negotiation between the companies involved.

Is the service limited to South America?

No. The service is international. South America is the region where VolzMarketing can additionally draw on especially deep in-house research.
