Brand Visibility Check
I assess whether and where your brand is present in relevant contexts at all – not how it's interpreted, but whether it exists. Search systems, AI responses, competitive comparisons, thematic categorizations: Is your brand found, mentioned, named?

Existence Before Interpretation
Before you can ask how your brand is understood, you need to know: Is it perceived at all? Does it exist in contexts relevant to your market?
Many companies assume their brand is known – because they work with it daily. Reality is different: the brand doesn't appear in search engines. AI systems don't mention it. Competitors dominate visibility. Relevant markets or languages have no brand presence.
Missing visibility is not a marketing problem, but a structural market risk. It cannot be solved through campaigns if fundamental digital existence is absent.
The Brand Visibility Check systematically assesses: Where does your brand exist? Where is it found? And where are there structural visibility gaps that have nothing to do with marketing budget, but with missing digital presence, competitive dominance, or cultural barriers?
Distinction from perception analysis: While perception analysis shows how your brand is understood (narratives, distortions, risks), the Brand Visibility Check assesses whether and where your brand is present at all. Existence ≠ meaning. Presence ≠ interpretation.
What Is Assessed
Visibility in Search Systems
Is your brand found for brand-related searches? Does it appear in relevant category searches? Does visibility match your expectations? I assess Google, Bing, and local search engines: Is the brand found where you assume it is? Or does it barely exist digitally?
Visibility in AI and Answer Systems
Is your brand mentioned referentially by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or AI Overviews? In what role – as market leader, as one option among many, or not at all? I assess not just whether, but how AI systems integrate your brand into answer logics: referential mentions (as source/example) vs. recommendational mentions (as suggested solution) – or completely ignored.
Competition-Related Visibility
Which competitors are systematically mentioned when someone searches for your category? I assess relative presence: How often does your brand appear compared to competitors? Is your brand displaced, overlaid, or presented equally? The comparison shows whether competition structurally dominates visibility.
Thematic Brand Classification
With which topics is your brand connected – if at all? Does external classification match your self-image? I assess in which thematic contexts your brand appears – and where important attributions are missing or incorrect.
Regional and Linguistic Visibility
Does your brand exist in the markets and languages you want to address? Or are there structural gaps? I assess brand presence across regions and languages – and identify where the brand doesn't exist digitally.
Visibility Gaps & Blind Spots
In which relevant contexts is your brand completely absent? Which systems, markets, or topics have no brand mention? I identify structural causes for missing visibility – not marketing measures, but fundamental presence problems.
Expectation vs. Reality
Where do you assume your brand is visible – but it isn't? I compare internal assumptions with external reality and show where your expectations don't match actual presence.
Brand Visibility Assessment
The result is not a performance metric, but a risk assessment: Is missing visibility a strategic problem?
Stable Visibility
Brand is found in relevant contexts. Presence matches expectations. No structural gaps. Competition doesn't displace. Visibility is not a risk factor.
Partial Gaps
Brand exists in some contexts, missing in others. Regional or thematic gaps present. Competition partially dominant. Visibility should be monitored and strategically addressed.
Structural Invisibility
Brand is not found in critical contexts. AI systems don't mention it. Competition dominates completely. Missing presence is strategic risk and prevents market entry or growth.
Systematically Assess Brand Presence
I assess whether and where your brand exists in relevant systems, markets, and contexts – and identify structural visibility gaps.
